PRESS RELEASE 27 MARCH 2025 Petitions show Australians want the brumby slaughter to stop. The Australian Brumby Alliance (ABA) today vehemently opposed the call from the Invasive Species Council (ISC) to repeal the Kosciuszko Wild Horse Heritage Act 2018 and rejected the ISC’s claim to represent the broader NSW or Australian community. The President of ABA, Mrs Nikki Alberts, also called for balance to be restored to this debate, following release of numbers showing original estimates of brumbies in the Park were grossly inflated.
