A decade of Anti-Brumby rhetoric has been challenged by new research showing over 99% of Bogong High Plains and 82% of the Eastern Victorian Alps had NO impact from horses.

ABA vs Parks Victoria – outcome of court case announced

Australian Brumby Alliance Inc (ABA) began proceedings in the Supreme Court of Victoria against Parks Victoria early September 2022 that the Supreme Court heard on December 1st & 2nd 2022. ABA alleged that Parks Victoria (PV)’s inhumane killing of Brumbies by gunshot is unlawful, fails to comply with the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and ignores many legal requirements, rules and regulations Parks Victoria are required to comply with in Victoria.
