ABA Supreme Court case against Parks Victoria MR4
Media release – 8 December 2022 Australian Brumby Alliance Inc (ABA) commenced proceedings in the Supreme Court ofVictoria against Parks Victoria (PV) on 2 September 2022, alleging that Parks Victoria’sinhumane shooting of Brumbies, also known as Wild Horses, shooting is unlawful and doesnot comply with the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. Orphaned brumby foal adopts Brahman cow as its mother on Mount Garnet cattle station
Mount Garnet grazier Rob O’Shea recently noticed the wild foal around the cattle herd on his Tablelands property after its mother died. ABA vs Parks Victoria Update 18 Nov 2022
Both sides have determined the facts that are agreed, which reduces the amount of time needed to present our case as we all are clear on what we do not agree on and so what we will need to argue about in Court. By the 24th November 2022, both Parks Victoria and the Australian Brumby Alliance will have both finalised written submissions detailing their arguments. The ABA-v-PV case will be heard in the Supreme court of Victoria on Thursday 1-Dec-22 and 2-Dec-22.
