A documentary about the healing power of horses (in this case ex Thoroughbreds) on those with trauma. This is not a new concept; Mustangs are used in the USA to help in prison rehab and horses are used around the world to help kids and adults with disabilities and emotional problems. This new film emphasises, once again, the importance of horses to humans.
THE HEALING highlights the groundbreaking work of the Thoroughbred and Veteran Welfare Alliance, whose mission is to transform the lives of traumatised ex-racehorses and military veterans, and first responders.
