Coffin Bay Brumby Preservation Society
Coffin Bay Brumby Preservation Society offers young horses for sale (around 2-3 years old). Whilst only having minimal handling, all lead, tie up and load onto the trailer, and happily approach you for hay or carrots in their paddock.
Kaimanawa Heritage Horses
From time to time KHH have welfare horses in need of new homes. If you are in a position to offer a permanent home to a welfare horse(s) then contact us for more information. Any application for a welfare horse will require you to provide two referees and undergo a home inspection
Save the Brumbies
Horses regularly come through our Adoption program and are from Guy Fawkes River National Park and Oxley Wild Rivers National Park. Our main Sanctuary is located on the Northern Tablelands of NSW, midway between Armidale and Guyra.
Save the Brumbies Inc. CFN 17516 is a fully tax-deductible animal welfare charity, no paid staff, all volunteers, you can donate with confidence knowing that all monies received go directly to the welfare of our Heritage Brumby horses. Our grateful thanks for your help. Our Adoption program is Animal Welfare (RSPCA) approved.
South East Queensland Brumby Association
We have a number of Toolara, Beerburrum and Kosciuszko brumbies looking for their forever home.
We are looking for homes for these brumbies with people who have experience with horses, and preferably who own at least one other horse, have a round yard, are patient and kind, and willing to provide a “forever” home.
As with any brumby, you will need to earn their trust which can sometimes take a while but once they have given it to you, you will form a bond like no other.
Victorian Brumby Association
If you are interested in offering your home to a Brumby through one of our programs, please do get in touch.
No Brumby will ever leave here without their vet work done. We won’t negotiate on that. No colts leave here ungelded. There are too many horses across Australia already competing for homes – not breeding and ensuring our Brumbies are trained is our way of keeping our beloved Brumbies out of the cycle of ‘bad’ behaviour/ rejection/ saleyards/ ‘re-rescue’ and slaughter.
